Hiring a Washer Technician in Vermont
No separate Vermont appliance repair license was identified, but anyone who installs, inspects or services natural gas or propane systems, including appliances, must hold a gas certification from the Division of Fire Safety. Source: Vermont Division of Fire Safety: Natural and LP Gas Certifications
In Vermont, you can check a license with the DFS Licensing MasterList (Vermont Open Data: licensed electricians, plumbers and gas certifications) or report a problem to the Vermont Attorney General's Office, Consumer Assistance Program.
